Peter Weck - Was This It?

An evening of anecdotes and comedy with and for the Vienna Boys Choir
Peter Weck is a favourite with audiences in all German-speaking countries: acting legend, entertainer, director, producer, theatre director, winner of the German Musical Theater Award, and last — but by no means least — a former member of the Vienna Boys Choir, he has made himself available for this benefit evening, presenting his hilarious one-man show “War’s das?” (Was that it?), a look back at his varied artistic life.  In buying tickets for this event, you will help fund a symposium on voice training and stage presence for the Vienna Boys Choir.
Like last year, there will be a number of VIP tickets available for this concert. If you treasure the sound of these wonderful voices and value a tradition that has endured for over 500 years, become a Friend of the Choir by joining the Friends of the Vienna Boys Choir Association. Sung Eucharist

M. Haydn, Missa Sancti Leopoldi in G
Christoph Campestrini conducts
The "Missa sub titutlo Sancti Leopoldi" MH 837 was written in 1805 for the choristers of Salzburg Cathedral. It is Michael Haydn's last setting of the mass ordinary, and his last completed work: Haydn died in 1806.
